Super Saturday Sundae – A Family Advent Celebration

Our annual children’s Christmas craft day will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM. Crafts, music, snacks are all part of this festive day. Tickets are available on Sunday mornings and at the church office during the week.

Women’s Advent Service

This annual event planned by women of our congregation will be held on Monday, December 4 at 7:00 PM. A service of quiet hope, carols, communion, and candlelight will be followed by a reception in the Van Roon Community Hall. Donation of baking/dainties for the WAS are warmly welcomed and can be brought to the church on the morning of Sunday, December 3. Please label your donation as WAS.

Christmas Hampers

Our goal is to provide Christmas hampers to 55 families whose names are provided by the Winnipeg Cheer Board. In addition to a hamper of groceries, every child in the receiving household is given a wrapped gift. Lights for Lives 

Our annual Christmas memorial Program begins on Sunday, December 3, the first Sunday of Advent. Throughout the season, people may dedicate lights in the sanctuary to the memory of their departed loved ones. Remembrance slips can be completed at church on Sundays or in the office during the week. The program culminates with a contemplative evening worship service on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 7:00 PM.
