After a brief tour and friendly conversation Mayor Brian Bowman presented Charleswood United Church with the City of Winnipeg Community Service Award in recognition of this church\u2019s legacy of service as we celebrate our 100th Anniversary.\r\n\r\nWe are most grateful to the mayor for this gracious acknowledgment of the church\u2019s place in this community. In part the certificate says \u201cI hereby recognize Charleswood United Church as an exemplary organization whose excellent leadership in the field of community service is gratefully appreciated.\u201d We are thankful for, and humbled by, the generations who have come before us over the last 100 years, and with whom we most certainly share this award.
