Easter Lilies – 1992

The traditional flower of Easter and symbol of the Resurrection, their white purity reminds us of Christ and His miraculous rising. Mauve and gold represent His royal estate and holiness. Green leaves tell of springtime and eternal Life. The flowers are not contained completely within the central area, but overflow the boundaries, as the tomb could not contain Christ.

“Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia.”
